Why Candles? Why Us? Here’s Our Story...

Pop the kettle on and light a candle, this is where it all began!

After having my daughter (who’s now 7 and growing way too fast!), I found myself craving a fresh challenge. Before taking my maternity leave, I was Head of Operations at a Youth & Community Charity, a role I absolutely loved. But like many new mums, everything shifted. Priorities changed, and I knew it was time for something new, something that could fit around our growing little family.

Fast forward 18 months, a good friend gifted me a beautiful housewarming hamper. Nestled inside was a small votive candle that, when lit, transformed my space with the most captivating scent, it reminded me of an elegant, sophisticated beauty parlour. That was my lightbulb moment. I thought: Why not create candles that deliver this kind of depth and atmosphere but with a clean burn, no wasted wax, and no harmful ingredients?

And so, after a year of experimenting, testing (and lots of lovely smelling messes), Jasmine’s Candle Co. was born. We're a small, family run business based in the heart of London, and every single product is hand-poured with love.

We use a vegan friendly blend of rapeseed oil and coconut oil wax to give you a clean burn, a strong scent throw, and minimal waste, so you actually enjoy your candle right to the bottom of the jar. Our fragrance oils are paraben-free and additive-free, no soy, no palm, and 100% vegan.

We believe luxury shouldn't come at a high cost or the planet’s expense. That’s why we’re committed to keeping our products both affordable and eco-conscious. All our materials are ethically sourced, and our packaging is fully recyclable.
